A survey on supply chain ontologies

Nowadays, the business area cannot be sustainable and efficient without presence of Supply Chain. However, Chain Management is by no means an easy task. Experts, in their effort to achieve most Management, have turned attention management knowledge related supply chains. Thus, they model concepts semantic relationships between them Networks create conceptual models ontologies. In this paper, a survey existing ontologies field carried out, with aim creating new ontology that will unify its structural elements lead integration all systems. For purpose, 22 ontological from different systems, over 90 sources, been collected, briefly presented commented on. These models, although being intersection operations delineate good basis for businesses engage Logistics processes, lack adequate formulation appropriate semantics terminology describe functions Consequently, inevitably leads incompatible interpretations uses results intercompany transactions.
